Book Circle
Book Circle
What is it about?
The Book Circle is a book group that gets together to discuss a wide range of books - mostly, but not exclusively, with a Jewish theme or author. The group talks about one book each time they meet.
Where does it meet?
The members take turns to meet in each other's homes.
How often, does it meet?
Once a month, usually on the first Monday.
When?
In the evening.
I notice you also have a Shared Reading Circle. What's the difference?
At our Shared Reading Circle, Liz Stoll, who is a trained Reader Leader, reads a great short story and poem that she has chosen to the group, who then discuss themes and feelings that arise from the text. It's different from the Book Circle where everyone agrees to read a book in advance and then talks about it.
