Who Cares? Caring for Carers
Thursday, 10 June, 2021 • 30 Sivan 5781
8:30 PM - 9:45 PMZoomThere are many people caring for their loved ones in our community, whether a parent, partner, or child. But Carers often don't recognise this description of themselves - looking after a close family member is something they just do out of love and devotion. But the strain and pressures are real and there is often little time to share or discuss the impact it has on them and the rest of their family.
This event is for Carers within our community to share their experiences with others in similar situations, to reflect on the impact on their own well-being, especially with the amplified toll brought about by COVID-19, and to give them access to information and resources they may find helpful.
The evening will start with 2 NNLS members sharing their own challenging caring experiences together with Wendy Stolerman Senior Lead, Family Carers support team at Jewish care.
Please contact Deborah Golend if you are a carer and would like to connect with other carers in the community or would appreciate some support for yourself.
