We offer the opportunity for mourning and solidarity, healing and hope, with a series of sessions across a number of days. We are particularly honoured to welcome, from Israel, the renowned poet Rabbi Osnat Eldar, author of a deeply moving collection of work concerning 7th October. We're also delighted to offer a fun filled family party on the Sunday morning before.
Yom Ha'atzmaut Family Party
Sunday 27 April at NNLS
11.00am - 12.30pm
Join us as we celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut with a fun-filled family party. featuring giant inflatables, games, craft activities and an Israeli style buffet.
The event is open to all children aged 0 - 11 and takes place during Kehilatainu, so we especially invite the parents and siblings of our Kehilatainu children to come. Please note that there is no charge to attend. This event has been made possible by the generosity of NNLS members.
Our Yom Ha'atzmaut Family Party is during the Omer and has been designed to respect this alongside the need for children in our community to have the opportunity to celebrate Israel's Independence Day.

At the home of Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg and Nicky Solomon
Rabbi Osnat Eldar will discuss how poetry can help rebuild Jewish, non-Jewish and Israeli identities.

As we move from Yom HaZikaron to Yom Ha'atzmaut, we invite you to join us for a special evening that will combine prayer, reflection, poetry and song.

An evening of prayer, music and poetry, with Rabbi Osnat Eldar and the NNLS rabbinic team.
Join us to hear Rabbi Osnat's moving post October 7th poetry, along with reflections from Kibbutz Re'im, all woven in with prayers and songs that move us from darkness to light.
