Lemon Tree directed by Eran Riklis

'Lemon Tree' tells the story of Salma Zidane, a Palestinian widow fighting to save her lemon grove from Israeli Defense Minister Israel Navon, who sees it as a security threat. With the help of lawyer Ziad Daud, she battles the military's plans, while Navon's wife, Mira, empathizes with Salma. The Supreme Court ultimately rules that Salma's trees cannot be fully removed, but can be pruned, highlighting the deep personal and political tensions.
