8:00 PM - 10:00 PMNNLSOn the festival which commemorates our wandering, Prof. David Cantor will be in conversation with Adam Wagner on Refugees and Human Rights.
Professor David Cantor, PhD, is the founding Director of the Refugee Law Initiative (RLI) at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, where he is also a Reader in Human Rights Law. His research won the Times Higher Education (THE) award - Research Project of the Year 2017-18. During 2016-17, Professor Cantor undertook a part-time secondment as Senior Advisor to the UNHCR Americas Bureau.
Adam Wagner is a human rights barrister at Doughty Street Chambers and a Visiting Professor of Law at Goldsmiths University. He has extensive experience of refugee and asylum law. In 2015, he founded RightsInfo a human rights public education charity. He recently launched the Better Human Podcast.
