Wednesday, 8 May, 2024 • 30 Nisan 5784
7:30 PM - 9:30 PMNew North London Synagogue, 80 East End Road, London N3 2SYAntony Lishak MBE, CEO of Holocaust education charity - Learning from the Righteous and Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg will speak about IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS an exhibition inspired by the work of late ceramicist Jenny Stolzenberg.
Jenny created almost 1000 ceramic shoes, each pair depicting the uniqueness of each victim of the Holocaust. Each abandoned shoe represents a stolen life, no longer able to leave a footprint.
Join us for refreshments and a chance to visit the exhibition from 7.30pm. This will be followed at 8.00pm, by an evening of discussion, poetry and music.
